A Season Well Spent

There's something freeing about realizing your season somewhere has come to an end.

Not because the place was bad.
Not because the people weren't good.
Simply because you've grown into someone who needs something different.

It doesn't erase the love, the lessons, or the impact.

I wasn't meant to carry anyone all the way. I was meant to do my part, plant what I could, and trust someone else to continue the work.

Others laid blocks before me.

I added a few of my own.

Maybe I made the path a little stronger.

One day, someone else will build something I only imagined.

And I hope they do.

The title was never the reward.

The growth was.

I know who I am.

I love who I'm becoming.

And wherever life takes me next...

I'll keep building.

Not because the world needs me to finish the work.

But because it deserves my best while I’m here.
